Or rather, my guest host, Lisa Haas is sorry.
Folks, I am still out of town on a post-hurricane Ian rescue, so Haas volunteered to guest host a podcast episode for me as a curtain warmer to my upcoming Late-in-Life Lesbians (LILL) episode.
If you are a LILL who has regrets about not coming out as a teenager, well regret no more. Haas shares a real-life cautionary tale which might make you thrilled you didn’t come out until “later in life.”
That’s not to say we shouldn’t support, encourage and provide safety nets for LGBTQ+ teens! In fact according to this Buzzfeed article “65 Before And After Coming Out Of The Closet Pictures That Show Just How Powerful LGBTQ People Are”, your fashion choices might improve greatly! (Unfortunately, this does not automatically happen for everyone, such as guest host Haas.) But the important thing to remember is to keep hope alive!
